Friend or Foe is the debut solo album by Adam Ant, released in October 1982 by Columbia Records. The album peaked at number 5 in the UK, Adam Ant's highest charting solo album. Following the disbandment of the successful Adam and the Ants earlier in 1982, Adam Ant began a solo career with fellow Ant guitarist and songwriter Marco Pirroni. A most excellent album: I have been a great fan of Adam Ant and Adam & The Ants since before I started secondary school. I would recommend this album - and all others by Adam & The Ants - to anybody who, like me, has a feeling for what I can only call unusual, funny, hilarious music.
